Service: TrueTroop Planner Intelligence Hub Effective date: [TO BE SET ON LAUNCH] Version: 1.0 Last updated: [TO BE SET ON LAUNCH]
Disclaimer for Dr. Osadare: This is a working draft prepared by Archie, suitable for an invitation-only Phase 1 launch to your P6 Masterclass students. It must be reviewed by a UK-qualified solicitor before going live, particularly the limitation of liability, IP and indemnity clauses. Items in square brackets need your input.
1. About these Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the TrueTroop Planner Intelligence Hub ("the Service") provided by The True Troop Consulting Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number [INSERT]; registered office [INSERT]).
By logging in to the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service in brief
The Service is a UK-focused, invitation-only platform that aggregates publicly posted job listings for project planners, schedulers and project controls professionals from third-party sources (initially Adzuna and Reed.co.uk). It allows you to filter and save listings of interest. The Service does not apply for jobs on your behalf and is not a recruitment agency.
3. Who can use the Service
The Service is currently available by invitation only to students of the Primavera P6 Masterclass run by The True Troop Consulting Ltd, and other persons we expressly authorise. Your email address must appear on our allow-list for you to log in. We may add, remove or restrict access at our discretion.
4. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login email and any magic-link emails confidential.
- You must promptly tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation.
- You are responsible for all activity that happens through your account.
- You must provide accurate information when asked.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose — to discover relevant planner roles in the UK. You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, automate, or otherwise systematically extract data from the Service.
- Republish, resell or commercially redistribute job listings from the Service.
- Use the Service to send unsolicited messages to employers or recruiters.
- Attempt to access another user's account, data or saved jobs.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or otherwise tamper with the Service's underlying systems.
- Use the Service to upload, transmit or share unlawful, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or infringing content.
- Use the Service in a way that violates any applicable law, including UK GDPR, the Computer Misuse Act 1990, or the terms of any third-party API or platform referenced by the Service.
Breach of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
6. Third-party job listings
Job listings shown in the Service are sourced from third parties (employers and aggregators). We do our best to filter and prioritise high-quality, planner-specific UK roles, but:
- We do not verify the accuracy, currency, legitimacy or completeness of any listing.
- We do not endorse any employer or recruiter.
- A listing appearing in the Service is not a recommendation that you apply.
- You apply for any job at your own discretion and through the third party's own application process (typically by clicking the "Apply" link, which takes you to the third party's website).
- Salaries, locations, contract terms, and other details are reproduced from the third-party source and may change without our knowledge.
You must conduct your own due diligence on any employer or recruiter before applying.
7. LinkedIn search buttons
The Service includes buttons that open pre-filled search URLs on LinkedIn in a new tab. We do not scrape LinkedIn, store LinkedIn data, or act on your behalf on LinkedIn. Your use of LinkedIn is governed entirely by LinkedIn's own terms.
8. Intellectual property
- The Service's design, code, copy, branding, and curated content (including the relevance scoring, sector classifications, filter library and any reports we publish) are the property of The True Troop Consulting Ltd.
- Job listings remain the property of their original posters.
- You retain ownership of any content you upload (for example, future CV uploads, when that feature is launched). By uploading, you grant us a limited licence to process the content solely to operate the Service for you.
- You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works of the Service without our written consent.
9. Privacy
How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Notice. The Privacy Notice forms part of these Terms.
10. Disclaimers and limitations of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.
- We do not warrant that any listing is accurate, current, or that any application will result in an interview or offer.
- We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, or any damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
- Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to £100 or the amount you have paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is higher.
- Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law (for example, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud).
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any third-party claim arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Service.
12. Term and termination
These Terms apply from the moment you first log in until terminated. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion, including if you breach these Terms, with or without notice.
Upon termination, we will retain or delete your personal data as set out in the Privacy Notice. Sections 5 (Acceptable Use), 8 (IP), 10 (Liability), 11 (Indemnity) and 14 (Governing law) survive termination.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to you in the Service or by email. Continued use after the effective date of any update means you accept the new Terms.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that you may bring a consumer dispute in your local court if you are a UK consumer entitled to do so.
15. Miscellaneous
- If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision.
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
- You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent.
